oh, where do I start? the breakfast was disgraceful, and don’t even get me started on the shower situation—not so much a shower as a wet room. i was hoping for a lovely little room upgrade, but alas, that remains a dream. i almost thought about a good review, but just couldn’t.

la fibule d'or offers a cozy place with a clean room and great air conditioning. the location provides stunning views of the old town right in front. omar was incredible, helping us with local tips and organizing our desert tour. the authentic amazir dishes, especially the tajine, were delicious!

We had a wonderful stay where we were welcomed with free mint tea while enjoying breathtaking views of the ksar from the rooftop. The cozy twin room was beautifully decorated and included an en suite bathroom, which was spacious enough for our needs. Omar, the host, was incredibly helpful in arranging our local tours and provided us with useful tips on exploring Aït Benhaddou. While we loved the overall experience, an extra curtain in the shower would have added comfort, especially for families.

the family that runs the hotel was super nice and really cared about us. the view from the room and the rooftop was breathtaking, especially at sunset. breakfast was tasty with lots of good options, and the dinner we had was amazing too. the parking for our rental car was a huge plus, made everything easier. we really enjoyed the authenticity of the place and felt very safe.
